Enterprise Development Corporation Unveils Panelists for 15th Annual Emerging Technology Business Showcase (ETBS)

The Enterprise Development Corporation of South Florida (EDC), a non profit organization specializing in incubation and business development services for emerging science and technology companies, reveals panelists for its 15th Annual Emerging Technology Business Showcase (ETBS). The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Deerfield Beach located at 100 Fairway Drive from 9am to 4:30pm on Friday, November 30th.

ETBS is South Florida’s premier “tech startup” event catering to local business leaders, investors and service providers, delivering an exciting venue to preview the regions hottest startups and discover new partnership opportunities. Entrepreneurial and tech communities from across our region convene for one day to watch 12 minute investor pitches and product demos from 18 of South Florida’s most promising early stage companies. The showcase will also feature a luncheon panel discussion, sponsor and presenter exhibits, and valuable networking opportunities.

 

Hear and learn from some of the most experienced Florida investors and entrepreneurs on how best to raise capital in these challenging times at our luncheon panel; “Raising Capital in this Economic Climate.”

 

Moderater:

Mark Arnold , Partner, Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP and serves as a Director on EDC’s Board.

 

Panelists:

John Duffy – Founder and CEO, 3Cinteractive.  A highly awarded serial entrepreneur and investor.

 

Raj Kulkarni – A highly successful senior executive, investor, mentor. Founder of GemStone Systems.  Active member of The Indus Entrepreneurs, New World Angels and the Miami Innovation Fund.

 

Richard Licursi- Founder of 5 companies, with many successful exits, raising over $70 million in venture capital.   Managing Partner of venVelo, a seed stage fund and venture accelerator.
